My internet went out during a game.

My internet (comcast) when out for over an hour during my last game. I was jus able to get it back 5 minutes ago. Comcast service went out for quite a few chunks of states for a bit there. Some still have no service in areas.

Of course for "leaving" i got a leave as my game status. When i was able to log back into league, obviously the game was over long ago and i had to sign this thing that felt like a life contract of "you will never leave another game ever again". So im guessing quite a few people reported me for afk/DC.

Is there anyway to fix this leave status on my match or maybe something i can do do have this not counted against me, since i had o choice in the matter?

This is the 10th time in 2 weeks my net has gone out...thankfully this was the first time during a game. Maybe its time to look for other services...

If it is the 10th time your internet has gone out in the last 2 weeks, why the fuck are you still trying to play? Get some common sense dude. Good thing I don't run the ban service, because you sure would be banned.

Sorry buddy... Riot doesn't care anymore. Intent doesn't matter to them anymore, they've explicitly said that the fact that your internet going out causes others inconvenience means you deserve to be punished for it.

I hate that that's the case, because intent is far more important than effect in my eyes... but Riot disagrees. They want people to only play LoL if their internet, computer, family life, health, etc. are ideal so nothing can ever get in the way of the game. And you're the collateral of that decision.

Good luck with your games though, hopefully you don't dc more.

this is an easy one! Whenever there is an afk, you report for afk!

I see the backlash coming but hear me out!

If you are not a habitual leaver, you hardly ever afk and this was an exception, the reports, (even if there are 9) are not going to do anything against your good standing. NOTHING, NADA ZIP, ZILCH, NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER!!!

If you leave often, if your unstable internet or bad computer or rage habits make you afk often, you'll get punished.

That's the way the system works and that's why it's important to report afk's.
