How should i deal with them and how can i steer them from throwing the game? And how common is it to find them and what are the odd of having the same toxic player in a consecutive games?

I just played a ranked game and we had a newbie Cho'gath. i didn't bm cuz, he did say he didn't know how to top lane so i let him do his best. Then I have this Volibear jungle. Now this potty mouth couldn't keep his mouth shut for 1 second and kept flaming Cho and everyone's mistake everyone made. I and our midlaner could've potentially carried the game. However, i felt like the game was just too annoying to play that i don't think i was able to play my 100%. And the funny thing is that, after we lost. i played another ranked game, and out of everyone in world of league of legend. I GET MATCHED UP WITH THE SAME FREAKING VOLIBEAR!!! and the first thing he says to me is "hey it's the same shitty sivir" and i just dodge Q.

Btw i'm doing this while i wait for my leavebuster Q to finish XD.

Honestly, the ones who flame just expect so much out of everyone that is why they flame, or that is why I did before. I use to play a lot of tournaments as well as high ranked 5s so I knew what my teammates were capable of and they would hold to their end. I learned to not expect as much during solo queue because that I would flame or ask why they did something then the player would rage quit or just troll after that. I go into solo queue not expecting my teammates to play a higher level now so I don't flame. As for what to do against flamers, I would suggest just muting them and reporting at the end, or trying to talk them down so they can be calm and play a regular level rather than playing angry all game.

The chances of having the same toxic player on your team again is the same chance of having any other player on your team again. I've only once have had a player from my previous team be on my team again the next game after.

Anyways, how do you steer a toxic player from throwing the game? You don't. Because you don't know if their a troll or just upset. So don't waste your time and energy. Just sit still on the boat and see where the river takes you. In all honesty, just ignore them, and go about the game trying to do the best you can, even if you won't win; just try to end with a decent record (like 2-0-5 instead of 2-15-5) and try to learn more about your champion. Maybe try risky plays (like if you're Lee Sin, try your flash kicks) and practice your champion. Just move onto the next game after. Take a break after if you need. But just move on. If you've been playing since Season 4 or Season 3 or earlier, there must have been a toxic game you had back then. I've had some toxic games last year. And guess what? I've either forgot about them, or don't care for them anymore. I don't even remember the toxic dude's username or what champion he was playing. The bottom line is, forget and move on. That toxic game is going hold 0 meaning in the future. Mark it on your calendar, write "toxic game today" in the box. Some weeks from now or a month, you'll look at it and not care for it. It won't matter anymore.
