TenSlashTen1 votesWhats the point in consoles anymore. They've ruined all the franchises for me. Halo 1/2/3 was the end of halo. MGS 4 was the end of the metal gear solid. Final fantasy 12 was the last one I wanted to play. Just to name a few older titles that still exist.
Mario games and zelda games are ok I guess(in terms of their games are usually pretty good despite being around for so long they still add new mechanics etc and it flows well.. I thought twilight princess was pretty good and skyward sword wasn't half bad either!) but not worth the money to play... Oh and metriod. Prime was good. really liked prime echoes... the dark/light one... was fun... Super spooky though.

That's more the tendency of publishers to run successful franchises into the ground so far even the developers are sick of them. Happens on PC every now and again too - Was a nice article on Ars Technica a bit ago about how it happened to Tomb Raider.
TeemoJenkins1 votesI haven't owned a PS since 2, because of the lack of backward compatibility, but I've owned every nintendo console since the 8-bit. I'm a die hard Mario fan - kart / smash / and all the side scrollers are hours of enjoyment for me. The new Mario Party was disappointing, but my 6 yr old and his cousins all love it, so I've passed the torch.

When they removed my zelda from shiek and I heard about it on the newer ones. they can suck a dick idc about balance, I don't play competitve smash, not a very interesting game to me competitively. If I wanted to play a real fighting game I'd just stick to street fighter and I have. Ultra street fighter 4/Omega still play blanka, I main juri though now.
