Dear players with negative attitudes,
I've always wondered... what does raging do for you guys? It's always boggled me. I've been playing LoL for 2 years, so I've seen some pretty crazy chats going on. But there are some people who just... can't stop raging. Why?
I am making this topic because just yesterday, about 10 minutes after a match started it was a thunderstorm outside and I had got absolutely HORRIBLE lag. I let the team know that I was lagging, all was fine. I freeze up during a team fight and then I got raged at, you know, the typical "useless, you didn't help, you let me die, etc" type of stuff. So I apologized and said "Sorry, but I told you I was lagging. I'm trying the best I can with this lag because I don't want to afk and ruin the game". Instead of accepting the apology like a decent human being (Who am I kidding... this is the internet), this player continued to keep being more and more negative. To make a long story that I don't feel like typing short, this player was soon writing me essays about... Well I'm not sure, I stop reading rage at one point. But, I saw a lot of asterisks so I'm pretty sure it was cursing involved.
So my question is, what does raging do for some of you guys? Yes, I know we're all human and need to vent sometimes, no one can say they've NEVER gotten annoyed during a match. But to sit there and constantly cyber bully (Yes, that's what it is) someone who can't help something, such as lag, serves no purpose. Cursing someone out isn't going to fix their internet, take a loss away from your record, or help the team work together. We all win some, we all lose some.
If you have someone who is lagging on your team, raging at them is ONLY going to have a negative consequence. Now not only do you have a lagging teammate, now you have a pissed AND lagging teammate. Them being annoyed is going to lead to worse performance ingame, and if they miraculously do stop lagging (which isn't uncommon) now you've just put bad blood between the team. Does that make you feel good about yourselves? Is being hateful bullies what's cool? To make things worse, many people who curse others out will quickly try to flip it around once they get a response. I've even had people rage at me, and then once I told them "I don't care that you're mad, it's not going to help us win so save the negativity" they then tried to make it seem as though I'm the one being negative. (Weren't you just cursing me out telling me to kill myself about 5 posts ago??)
Anyways, what does raging do for you guys? I can understand venting, but what else? (Btw, sorry for the length of this, I tried to condense it as much as I can. No trolls please. If you don't care enough to read the whole thing then don't care enough to type a response)
