went from 16 to 20 ping.. now i am getting 65 plus... i can feel the diffrence.. its slow... last hitting is a bitch... and its slow.. feels like i dota.. so ty rito for makeing east coast better glad for them but fuck u lol... me and my freinds are alll fuckin done with this shit game... i even have high speed internets and i am getting 70 ping.. and to people who say that they used to get that ping before the move... well did u like it... probably not right.. so stfu. i am pretty pisssed man.. i been playing this game since the beginning dude.. so much wasted time and money now.. for a game i cant fuckin play.

I went from 22 to 67, I notice the change but I can still last hit just fine. So it really seems like a personal problem that you can't adapt to slightly higher ping.

I've been playing at 90 ping up until the server swap. I haven't been able to play since the server swap so I'll be checking now. You're playing at above 60 ping now? I assure you the game Is still playable up until about 150.

Trust me it's not better. It's the moba equivalent of hearthstone. Except considering the lack of complexity (super high complexity) in most card games hearthstone isn't that bad as heroes. (I actually enjoy hearthstone)

People are just raging about it for the sake of raging bro. :/ Now if you're not good on the west coast I guess you have an excuse to be bad? "ohh I was good before the server swap but having 60 ping is killing me"

I doubt the ping swap is going to have a massive effect on my gameplay. I was playing at 90 ping. It's more about the player if you're below 100 ping. If you're sitting at 150-200 ping that's when it becomes a real issue.

if u were playing past 50 it was laggy trust me man... the game is so slow maybe that is what u were used to... but this is kinda fucked... dota has 2 na servers.. wc3 has 2 servers... even league eu has multiple servers... stupit fuckin lazy move rito

Actually this move was probably more complicated than building another server.... lol Rather than diverting your population, you're moving the entire population to another server. I don't think anyone wants to separate from their east coast or west coast friends. In Europe you have SEVERAL language barriers. Riot is trying to keep the NA server unified which completely approve of. (At least this is my take on it.)

Then again the other issue ~~argument for the other side~~ is that it was less cost effective to maintain two different servers. This could also be considered lazy BUT what you're not taking into account is the fact that riot is still a company. Mind you that riot handles their customers a lot better than other games. They're much friendlier than other companies I've played with before.

This is not a valid argument. xD Just because someone isn't ranked doesn't mean they won't notice ping changes.

No one says it doesn't matter. You're just making an issue out of a small thing. You're playing at a ping level where the game is still completely playable. Where east coast players were playing at pings of 100+ or 200+. Which are the points at which the game becomes almost unplayable.

Fuck you OP, up until now I've been playing with 105-112 ping regularly and it just dropped to 35 with the move, get over your freakin 60-70 ping, if I hit 90 before I was ECSTATIC! You'll be fine, so stop crying, and it's definitely not anywhere near unplayable.

Not sure if this'll help but try a dnsflush, heard it helped the disconnects and ping spiking for some people.

I play HotS a lot, especially when LoL is too toxic. For now HotS community is small enough that there aren't a ton of ragers, reminds me of early LoL but simpler but more complex in other ways.

Easier to get into for sure, but there's many different ways to play all the characters and with multiple maps it adds some difficulties. Basically takes more personal skill than item know-how. I enjoy, much less rage inducing than LoL.

It's made up by the talent system. So evens out imo. Just not as much diversity.

I've played this last year on 70 ping and there has been literally no lag between input and response. Due to my proximity to Chicago I am now getting 12 ping, I really am not noticing any difference(I haven't played enough games to be entirely certain but it didn't jump out at me). So not really sure what you're talking about

(before that I was on 150 average, now that was noticable)
