elo boosting is out of hand.....

I feel like some times my hard work to earn these upcoming rewards are going to be shared with a bunch of people who didnt earn them.....escentially I know i'm just whining but we all know its getting out of hand at the end

Is it that hard to see people jumping divisions in a short period of time? going from bronze/silver to plat? I mean if you're losing games but you just keep winning on a different ip 10 states away? Is it that hard to detect multiple logins from different IP addresses?

Im just ranting but I really really hate losing games to players who dont play said champs and are winning 10 straight with a horrible MMR against us getting 300cs at 30 mins with godlike mechanics that you dont see......

I had that same problem when I started playing rank. I would play like two games a day and lose most of the time then play normals after. I was talking to one of my friends, because he was at silver 3 and he got to gold 3 within like 15days; he said all you have to do is grind and you'll start playing with people that don't AFK. You'll start getting people that know how to play all the roles and play in teams, so I tried it for one day and I played rank non stop. I was at silver 5 with 6lp and I got to my promos and I didn't lose one game. So give it a try, even if you lose like 2 games at first keep going and you'll get a non stop winning streak!

This isn't the "boosting" he is referring to. Boosting is a term that means an individual aside from the player themself is advancing them, either through duo-queue or through playing their account for them.

That said, I don't think it's nearly as widespread as the thread-starter makes it out to be. In my watching low Bronze friends play, I frequently find many of these bottom percentile players actually are quite good at CSing, spell combos, and fight execution. The reason they are at the lowest levels of play is their tactical and strategic sense is nearly non-existent. They have no idea how to guess where the enemy team might be in the fog of war. They don't work with teammates, go for objectives, or know when to alter their item builds. Actual boosting is probably nowhere near as widespread as you think it is, and I'd estimate the majority of it is done through duo-queue rather than use of another's account.

As far as rapid advancement as a meter - it's simple to get decayed to Bronze/Silver or get placed there, and then play a ton of games consistently well and race your way up the ladder.

This is actually quite true. Sometimes players can be extreamly good before they go into rank. Like the fact that I played bots forever, learning the ropes of each champions but also learning the moves of each champion. Then when i finally played rank I was using most of my champs to be effective in team fights and in lane. On my first wave through I have gotten about 6 of my games in victory's on my first way through then i started to lose some due to other reasons. It is just up too you if you let it get you down.

I can vouch for what ShatterLight said above. ELO boosting isn't as drastic from bronze to plat/diamond. Its possible but highly unlikely. Have you seen the prices on the elo boost sites? You think people are willing to spend thousands of dollars to reach a certain divison? Even if they make it up, once they start playing in the wrong divison, people automatically know whether you've been boosted or not. its quite obvious - you just look to see if they have any knowledge in mechanics / last hitting / warding position / decisive decisions / etc.

in Brazil is called "elo job" a dishonestly way to receiving awards they do not deserve, my only joy is knowing that they will be limited to normal games till learn to play, or doomed to bam by multiple reports of intentional feeding by not having the quality required to be in gold / plat / diamond / charllenger is against the terms of use and unfair. But humans do unfair things unfortunatelly
