This is why I hate ranked

Yesterday I decided to do a ranked game. It's always been my dream to reach Gold, although I never play that much ranked. I'm currently Silver IV, after being Silver 1 last season. I was first pick, so I locked in Riven top. Our 3rd or 4th pick was a guy who chose Ezreal mid against a Syndra. 12-14 minutes in, this guy was 0/2 in against the Syndra, and showed signs of giving up. I was doing fine top, 2/0 against a Kennen because of jungle pressure. After 1 more death, this Ezreal said, "I'm so done with this", and left the game. 15 minutes in. This had made me really mad, and I talked a bit in /allchat , asking the team to report the Ezreal. Rather than be sympathetic (as I hoped they would be), the enemy team replied very negatively. The Syndra called my 'whining' "bulls**t" , and the Kennen also added his voice in verbally abusing our team. I was 2/3/0 at the 19 minute mark, and our team ff'd at the 20. Why does this always happen to me? Why does everyone have to be so negative? Why is it their team that always gets fed and not mine? I really enjoyed last season ranked, but this season it's horrible! I do realize that I play a part in the problem. Lots of the time I become negative and don't help the team as I should. But it really makes me sad when I see the defeat screen after something happens in the game. Can some @Riot employee see this? I really want to see the Ezreal punished, because leaving a ranked game at 15 minutes is not okay. Also, the negativity from the other team really took away the pleasure of playing.
