Why was this match put together? http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2156409693/35729311

According to my external website of choice, here are the team matchups:

My team: Me (silver 5) - 115 Season 6 ranked games My Duo partner (bronze 1) - 112 games This guy (bronze 1) - 20 games This guy's duo partner (bronze 3) - 23 games Another random (bronze 1) - 36 games

The other team: Player 1 (bronze 1) - 26 games Player 2 (silver 5) - 89 games Player 3 (silver 4) - 132 games Player 4 (silver 4) - 172 games Player 5 (silver 5) - 185 games

Why would you match two teams that are more than a full league apart ( average less than Bronze 5 vs more than Silver 5) and have a 2x disparity in games played (avg 60 vs avg 120).

Needless to say, our bronze 3 player didn't ward, didn't do damage, and had the lowest gold on the team (other than the support), and basically threw the game. Is the MMR bonus from having a friend in the game so much that it makes this a "fair" matchup?

And note that this wasn't after 10 minutes of matchmaking - this was a 2-3 minute match.

MMR must have been skewed somehow. I don't think mmr changes based off being in a premade or partly premade team.

To be fair, Riot has ALWAYS had poor matchmaking.

The difference in mmr value between S5 and B1 is like 40 points give or take. The system doesn't use your division as matching but your hidden individual mmr value.
