Is it wrong to leave a game?

I just attempted to play a game of Riven as jungle, the team showed no signs of toxicity or trolling, then as I'm taking my red (First camp) and it gets to low health, the Tristana will not back off, despite numerous pings from me and the support both. She took the red and said "Thx" before going off to lane. I left instantly. I want to know your opinions of whether it was wrong to leave or not. On one hand, I would likely not be able to recover from that, I wouldn't be able to gank unless I had a good opportunity and I think it was in everyone's best interests that the team got a chance to remake (which they didn't take), I was pretty pissed. I would be on tilt all game, and would probably flame but on the other, we had a chance to win. I don't think Tristana would ever stop trolling though. That was clearly intentional and malicious, not just accidental. I kind of feel sorry for wasting the teams time but that Tristana doesn't deserve to play, and I don't think I should have to play with him/her either.

I mean... look at it this way. The mid laner, top laner, and support was punished because of you leaving. While this was Tristana's fault, you just ruined the game for 3 other people on your team. Not cool imo. Sometimes you just gotta keep on keepin on.

Hello CreedZer0,

Although what the Trist did was not very sportsmanlike herself, what many players forget, or do not realize is that just because other players are not respecting the other players, or are themselves being toxic or unsportsmanlike, it doesn't give anyone else an excuse to be offensive or break the rules in any way what so ever.

Please bear in mind that you leaving the game can ruin the experience for the rest of the players in the game, even if the Trist made you mad, or did something they shouldn't, the support asked them through pings for them to leave the camp and mid and top did nothing wrong, so they shouldn't be punished because of the actions of another.

Leaving the game is both reportable and punishable and all punishments are placed accordingly and correctly based upon the behavior of the individual being punished, what the other players said or did have no impact on the outcome, as all negativity is punishable in itself regardless of reason

Hopefully this clarifies the reason you should not have left the game.

the trist was either a brain dead moron that doesn't understand how jungle works or was a troll

Flame the shit out of her and never help her only help cause of the sup. Ignore her and mute her pings and chat. When she goes mid to get farm take all of it, doesnt matter if u have to ult. It's payback time

First I'd tell everyone in all chat to report her. Then I would've flamed her for the entire game and question ping her every death. Either way, you'll probably get reported but both situations becomes Tristanas fault.

This may not be what is "acceptable" by people, but when shit like that happens the game instantly becomes a "basic training" game. I'll focus on jungle clears or practice combos (especially if you're playing riven). I'd practice hopping over some walls and basically do everything I can to improve without actually contributing to the guy who fcked me over.

It's important to note that I do try to help the rest of the team still, but if I'm so far behind that I'll just feed another kill: well...that's when it's literally practice mode for me
