So today my friends and I were talking about how much we've spent on League. One said $125 another said $50, but I, how much in the last year have I spent on league? So I had to go find out, and after my calculations, ever since I started playing league in this past year (2014-2015) I have spent
$300 !
What about you? Is that a lot to spend in one year? How much have you spent in your entire league career?
Stealth Panda2 votesLOL that's way too much. Way.....too much. Honestly, u cant even play that much champs. Just the basic skins are enough variety. For me, I've spent $30. I main Volibear and brand, I got Rune guard Volibear, and zombie brand. I also have heart seeker vayne and chosen yi. RIght now I got 810RP to spend on the next champ I am good at and enjoy playing. I prefer quality over quantity and not just buy stuff whenever.
My suggestion is, set a cap, just like you would in a casino. IF you don't set a cap, this game will last a long time into the future and therefore u can possible spend too much on it. My LOL cap is $50. I will not spend over $50 on LOL. I only buy skins for the champs that I play well AND that are actually good quality. SO not just a re-colouring. Unless if ur rich and can buy things without looking at price, you need a cap.

You wont spend over $50, is the like in a year? or in general? I mean I'm a Junior in High-School with a job and I have nothing else to spend my money on, so I just go with it. But you're right, I really DO need a cap, I didnt think it was a problem before.
Stealth Panda1 votesJust cuz you got nothing to spend on, doesn't mean you HAVE to use all ur money and waste it all on LOL. Save it up. Just an example. You have to go to uni or colledge after, that's a lot of money. You want a car and buy gas for it, don't you? And wouldn't you want to buy a good gaming computer in the future? Don't you want to play other games too? just some examples. Theres a lot of areas that will need money. Going hundreds, or thousands on just lol skins is just too much.
$50 is my cap for this game no matter the year. Although I might go slightly over if its a really awesome legendary skin, but around $50 will be my cap for this game no matter how long I play it. Some people spend hundreds on farmville and other types of app games. Its ridicules. Keep in mind, around $70 is the price of a new released game and typically about how much games are worth. So spending hundreds over a free game, JUST ON SKINS, is too much for an average person. This is why u need a cap and think wisely before purchasing a skin and should save the extra RP for on sale skins.
