So my friends think ELO Hell Exist.

They all blame "ELO hell" for why they cant get out of bronze. I told them that is what bad players tell themselves so they don't actually have to improve. Then they both bet me $40 each that I couldn't get out of bronze in a week. I asked how low in bronze do I need to start? And one of them said bronze 3 or lower. Lucky for me I had a bronze 4 smurf from way back when I was a baddie myself. I'll be making $80 when ranked queues come back up.

good guy me brings random bronzie to silver 5 too im only a gold scrub mid/jungle main banned leona in game 6 so sad no corki x leona lane

So for those of you who believe that ELO hell exist I am here to tell you it doesn't and if you choose to actively improve yourself you will get better and you will reach your goals what ever they may be.

I don't believe in elo hell, i believe that people will end up where they should be. If you get better you'll rank higher, if you somehow get worse you'll go down. Pretty simple.

I don't have to believe in elo hell, because I know it exists. It is pretty bad down there

Was hell when my Normals MMR was low enough to get constantly paired up with bronzies, shudder.

However elo hell is elo hell, just because it is bad, not because you couldn't get out. The bad guys can't keep you down, because everyone esle is just as bad, so if you were better than them you'd be rising.

I think there are some people who are competent enough they could play at a higher rank, bit not competent enough to carry a team of lesser skilled players to victory. Depending on how far away those two ranks are, it could feel like elo hell.

i won more in silver when my mmr had me matched up with silver teammates, now i get a couple bronzes in it. its hell they all feed.

yeah its been some rough teams man, i cant catch a break. i know i dont always play perfect or even well but i can at least hold my own lane until the other team decides its teamfight stage and the rest of my lanes just keep trying to farm.... i cant hold mid alone :'(

im not good enough to carry every team but im sure as hell good enough to win my lane then get shut right down during teamfights because someone loses their lane super hard on my team lol

edit: hell i played adc as a joke 2 games ago and went 8/8/8 across the board with my support giving up 5-6 kills in laning phase... only so much a little tristana can do

i know that stuff man. im just sayin some games are hopeless. had a lissandra keep pushing fizz to the tower and kept dying under it. fizz would roam bot pick up a double. (i'd ping several times to back off.) mind you im WW jungle i cant babysit 2 lanes when im not even level 6. least i could do was ult fizz every teamfight but it just wasnt enough. i even gave up on the losing lanes and tried to snowball top, got nidalee 3 kills with 3 ganks in like 4 minutes, she squandered all my help and still lost both her towers in the time i was gone(5 minute frame of time). everyone just kept dying if i wasnt there to babysit. some games are hopeless :D

2/18 lissandra and no one would group as 5. yeah its pretty hopeless man. played it out til the end, half the team would group and the other half just run around randomly doing god knows what. im not here for advice man, im just here to say elo hell does exist.

it's really not real. no matter your rank, you will get trolls and afks and people just losing lane in your game. bronze is just the place where it's easiest to win since the other team isn't as skilled as higher ranks.
