I am in bronze 3 and i have been trying to make it out of bronze for about 4 months now and i am quite fed up. The community in bronze elo is absolutely TERRIBLE. I have played tons of online mmo multiplayer computer games such as a.v.a, runescape, smite, combatarms etc. and the league of legends community in the bronze elo is by far the worst experience ive ever had out of all of these games. For example, i just had my series which i just lost because first a player troll picked in champion select(which isn't that big of a deal) then when we got in the game he immediately starts feeding for no reason and this game determines whether i advance to b2 or not. Eventually we lost, So here another series ive worked so hard for with my duo partner, stripped from me in an instant because of something i cannot control and is out of my reach. I am a FIRM believer in the summoners code as i used to be a very toxic player until i started to live by the code and started seeing the different results. I understand we are supposed to keep our composure and not get irate at other players But this is extremely unfair to players who are working hard to acheive their league of legends goals, playing by the code, being a positive influence on the community just to be set back to square 1 by some random troll. Yes i understand there is a report button, but that is not enough satisfaction to "wonder" if that person who just diminished all of your hard work will MAYBE get punished. League of legends used to be so much fun for me i used to get this adrenaline rush everytime i clicked solo queue for ranked, now its just me hoping i dont get in a game with a "troll" or someone threating to afk for feed and that really isnt how this game should feel. I havent posted on these forums once since i started playing about a year ago but im just getting really fed up because the game that i love is slowly starting to have an effect on my mood in real life. It may sound kind of nerdy but its true. I just want a fair chance to succeed in this game. This is just a suggestion to prevent this in the future i think everyone thats in a series should go into a team builder type queue and other honorable players get matched with each other so there is less chance of someone trolling and more chance of a good fair match. Please leave feedback

Pretty sure gold has a worse community than bronze.

Breathe. Take a break and come back. We all have those games and it fucking sucks.

looking at your match history though, you didnt help yourself to win that match as adc either. 1/10 with 50 cs in a 25 min game. OUCH dude.

It's time to improve your metagame. If you want out of bronze, you have to take a more statistical approach to your gaming to improve your win rate. It is no guarantee. An analogy would be like a card counter improves his chances, but in a system where there are 6 or more decks in a shoe which is shuffled half way, it's pointless.

Collect data on:

  1. Time when you play
  2. When you win and when you lose
  3. When you get trolled

This is just the beginning. For example, if you're playing during the week and your data tells you that you find most trolling occurring at 1-3pm, then try not playing during that time. If you find yourself playing with more serious like-minded players from 1-5 am, then aim for those times. You can only discover this with experience and by recording this. Timing is important as you'll find a lot of immature players might be kids on summer vacation who can only play before bedtime. For example, during the school year (Sep thru April) you'll find that there are significantly less trolls than there are now; most kids are in school.
