Call of Duty Mentality - I propose a change

Ok, so I've noticed this thing people do and it's one of the biggest things making people rage and play badly : The Kills/Deaths/Assists. Why, you ask? Because when in game, the only thing we have to keep score are towers destroyed, CS and KDA. So then, people who have what I call "Call of Duty Mentality" think that if you have a good KDA you are a good player and you are a bad player if you have a bad KDA.

I main support and I'm in Silver league, I make the plays and feed my adc well, yet it's always him that people say is good, usually. And most people treat supports like shit. That's why most people hate supporting and never wanna do it, and consequently, they are bad at it. And then you have people that, when forced to support, they will take a troll pick like pantheon or elise or volibear or darius as supports, and build non support items and never ward. Which in the end hurts the team badly (unless of course the enemy team is really bad too).

With that said, I propose to Riot to REMOVE the Kills/Deaths/Assists from the game (in-game only, show it at the end screen. Also maybe replace the KDA of players with the total GOLD of the ENTIRE team (like they show in the spectator mode). There is so much negativity in games because the main reason someone is raging at his team is because someone on his team is 0/3 or something. And they think it's the end of the world when the game is 10/20, they think they lost and say "GG at 20 or afk" and shit like that. People focus on getting kills rather then gaining advantages and winning the game. They seem to only want to play to get kills. That's why I call it the "Call of Duty Mentality", in call of duty, you just go around killing things. Is league a game like call of duty? I hope not, that's why I propose this. I really think this would make players more focused on winning the game rather then just getting kills. Since the KDA, CS and towers is the only way to tell if you are "winning", people seem more focused on getting fed then hoping they will magically win the teamfights and win the game. I've won so many games where the enemy team had more kills then us, just by playing smarter.

What do you guys think?

The KDA mentality will never go away no matter what you remove, currently the score does serve a purpose, you can see who is getting fed so you know who to focus, without that you might not have kept track of the 12 kills the jungler got before they wandered to your lane, i tend to just laugh at the people who have that mentality and start crying about people "kill stealing" but thats just the KDA mentality at work :)

While I agree that too much emphasis is put on KDA and all that, I don't think taking away information like that is the answer. KDA, while not the end-all-be-all, is still and important indicator of who to protect, who to target, etc. Team gold cannot give that indication.

Actually the problem is in the people looking at K/D instead of K/D/A or KillParticipation/Death. Basically, 3/2/0 is not better than 1/5/24, even if Fizz said so in all chat. Otherwise, don't flame your support for feeding their assassins if the team score is 8/42. He has been starved out of gold, your jungler got no map presence and lost all global gold, so he cannot be tanky, you will have caused his demise.

I agree that the COD mentality is something that really hurts the community, especially in lower level play, but I don't think removing the score would keep people from shouting "OMG wut a feeder!!!" When, say the mid laner got counter-picked and can't do much about it. I don't think the KDA mentality will ever go away, at least not in bronze play.
