Seriously riot fix that equation that calculates the S rank for champs. I played 2 games today. One with fiddle that went 11/1/5 and one with Malzahar that was 11/1/19. Both were A+. What is this bullshit. What does a guy got to do to get an S. I'm more than happy with a S-. But an A+ is ridiculous for these stats.
KDA is not the only thing that matters when it comes to your end of game grade. Though I don't know exactly what they are, tere are a lot more factors that go into the grading system.
I feel like when you don't get an S, you know why you didn't. Or at least I know why I didn't. I can go down a checklist of things I didn't do and be like, "Well, yeah. v.v" I can also tell when I'm going to get an S. It's a mixture of doing all you can while not doing terrible trying to do it, warding, and not feeding too much. Something something deaths as opposed to kills, as opposed to assists. Something something averages.
Wards, CS, The time of the game, towers/barons/drags you assisted or took, those all matter.
I'm glad the S rank system is forcing people to know what a pink ward is but sadly it looks like people don't even know the importance of that for their own reasons..
Naw man. I had a Kog'maw game earlier today where I went 7/1/17, and got an A-. And that is as it should be.
My last S+ game I had with him, I went 30/2/6. That is an exceptional Kog'maw game. I literally killed their entire team, and then killed someone that respawned afterwards.
You have to remember, your "good" games are being compare to the very best games played on that champion. That is the standard you need to compare yourself to.
If you're playing a champ that is capable of getting completely out of control... then that's what you have to do to get the S.
I'd suggest your link the games if you want accurate feedback.
Chances are that your CS and/or warding were rather bad in comparison to other players on that champion at your rank, which would bring your score down.
