Change Terms of Service Agreement to (I agree) instead of (I have read and understood and agree)

I would really like to see it say "I agree to the terms of service" instead of "I have read and understood and agree to the terms of service". I just wanted to type about this because I was very troubled with it and I think this game is quite popular. I hope the League of Legends developers look over this as I believe the "I agree to the terms of service" will suffice and yet it will not cause everyone who has not read or understood the terms of service to lie.

Even though a lie may seem small to someone, it is still a lie.

If you don't understand it, you should ask someone because the burden of understanding and adhering to the guidelines falls on you. You're trying to put that burden on Riot, and it's not possible for them to guarantee it for you.

The agreement is pretty standard for a video game, so if you've played many online games before you've probably agreed to almost the exact same thing hundreds or thousands of times. What parts of the ToU confuse you?

I dont think you are going with what I was trying to point out, Its not about me not understanding the terms of service as I was reading over it. I was just hoping they would change the agreement to a "I agree" button instead of a "I have read and understood and agree to everything in the terms of service". I have been playing plenty of games with the "I agree" button, and when I come across the "I have read and agree" button, I avoid it unless I really want to play the game, in which case I would read through it because I would not want to lie that I read it. The point I was trying to get to was if they were willing to change the "I have read and understood and agree" button to a "I agree" button, which has just as strong a binding on users and is used by many other developers in this day and age.

I got your point, but you need to understand what you are agreeing to, or signing "I agree" is pointless.

I edited my first post about this topic around a bit after reading your first post to me. I didn't want it to be about me not understanding what the terms of service means, though I am not sure that was even what I said, but about the "I have read and understood and agree" button being changed to a "I agree" button.

tos doesn't mean much anyway because the laws (i mostly mean the consumer protection laws) are above it it is also not equal to you signing up a contract or something, you are just accepting an offer

To be fair, I read the tos and I couldnt understand 1/2 of it. The only way you can understand it is if you are a lawyer.

I believe that the government protects us from unexpected terms of service such as "You will pay us 1 million dollars after using our program after 3 days has gone by" or "You will stop worshipping your God if you use our services", etc. So thats why as of now I would sometimes just scan through it and accept if it doesnt ask if I've read through the whole thing because It's not like I'm trying to do the developers any wrong.

I just finished reading through the terms of service. I am looking forward to playing League of Legends.
