Im so sick of hearing this in game. Because its a normal, feeding and pressing no on a surrender thats way beyond a lost cause is ok? If im not mistaken you can get chests from "Normals" so why is it ok to waste peoples time by being a jerk and continually fighting a fed team? I just got out of a game where a nasus and riven were feeding a teemo and lucian. They kept pressing no to surrender and were harassing the rest of us with "its just a normal, dont take it so seriously" or "were having fun, why arent you?". When did this attitude come into place? Where normals are meant for trolling and ranked for being serious business? Im pretty sure ive watched preseason games in the NFL where the players get upset for losing even though its preseason and doesnt matter. How is tis any differet? Sorry for the rant, but that Riven struck a nerve with me

Because end of the day, League is just a game. Normals hold little consequence beyond what screen you see at the end and how much ip you earned. Yes additionally now a win can net you key fragments, but even a loss can earn you a chest if you rank properly. Regardless, that is by no means grounds to troll or intentionally feed/afk, but it does mean no one should take it quite so serious to the point they get angry, abusive, etc. Not inferring that was what you did.

What you may have found to be a waste of time obviously was not for others. It is not trolling to not want to surrender. Comebacks never happen if you simply give up. Not all games can be won, but a game will never be won if you surrender.

It's good to be passionate about something you enjoy. It's good to try your hardest. Just remember not to invest so much you genuinely feel upset.

it pisses me off when they waste 30-40 minutes of 4 other team mates time, those type of players need to be banned or force them to play against bots.

It's just a game, i agree but ruining it for others is not cool at all.
