Adding Announcer packs?
Anybody who has played DoTA2 knows that they have announcer packs which change the voice/commentary of the announcer. I think League would benefit from adding these, with the added bonus being they require no Art assets, and have fewer lines than a champion, so they should, in theory, be easier to produce than something like a champion. You could put them in the store and sell them just like champs, 7,800 IP/ 975 RP on release, then 6,300 IP/ 975 RP later. Alternatively, you could give them Skin-like Tiers, where some are more expensive than others right off the bat (IE, Assassin Yi is far cheaper than DJ Sona, and Mecha Aatrox is more expensive than Mafia Jinx) Because some have higher production value. Either way, I would appreciate an IP price if you decide to make these, but I'm biased because I'm an almost entirely free2play player.
Here are some ideas for announcer voice overs: Ego Food The idea is to make everything seem positive, but also to feed the ego of the player. It also has to be in a British voice. EXAMPLES: First blood (Your team got it) - We've already won. First blood (Enemy got it) - Slight Miscalculation! You have been slain - You nearly got them. An enemy has been slain - They never stood a chance!/Outplayed! Executed (You) - You clearly had the wrong runes. Executed (Teammate) - An ally shouldn't have jungled. Your turret has been destroyed - An ally turret is experiencing technical difficulties. (Special) Backing with health below 5% - Not even close baby!
Drraaaven Draven commentates on your game, not much else to say. Maybe put this in a bundle with the Primetime Draven skin Probably the same quotes as the normal one, except with the Draven voice, and made a bit different to sound like something Draven would say EXAMPLES: Welcome to Summoner's Rift - WELCOME TO THE LEAGUE OF DRRRAVEN. (Special) Get a double kill as Draven - I'm on a roll tonight!
