you forgot patch 5.12 and the defensive matery tree changes thats going to affect all tanky top laners.

But for cereal, we've tentatively been staying away from patch note stuff in the interest of giving space to conversations that seem more likely to be missed by most players. It's definitely something we've considered though - do you guys think it'd be useful to point to the patch notes with every other MITL?

I mean there are great summoners out there that do a great job covering the big stuff like champs. Blackanola. that said some times it is the small stuff that can lead to the most biggest of problems. and I understand the want to avoid things like that. I just feel that some times the minor changes like mastery arrangement can be seen as minor,but be the key to weather or not early game is easier for a champ. maybe just a separate board post is needed for a patch. this way if there are any question on it we could have a deep discussion in that form and save this form for what it already does.

if we can't bother with the patch notes then it doesn't need to be here unless there was a particularly interesting discussion that cropped up around those changes.

Last week's "Meanwhile in Top Lane" post for reference.

You essentially had a footnote about this post in the last weekly roundup, and I was hoping you'd have a bit more to say about the continued discussion revolving around it (as the discussion was not yet finalized by the time you posted that roundup) What gives? Was their some concern that giving that thread visibility would further underline the pushback that thread had?

This can also work to the effect of putting an octothorpe (yes, that's what it's called) both behind and in front of the backlash to get the large text while still keeping the octothorpe
