Are yall as excited as i am about the implications of the season 4 changes and how they affect Solo lane and Support Mao Kai. I cant wait.

The introduction of executioners emblem/martyrs call synergy with support Mao. The life bomb active looks so neat.

Overall i also think that solo lane mao will be really powerful too this season. Its pretty exciting. Anyone playtesting him in lane on PBE? @riot @ betacommunity

I posted this in GD and i was actually hoping for a response from a tester. I love laning with Mao Kai and even though its not popular I would love for it to remain viable.

Laning Mao Kai has some very good strong points, such as being an immense help with ganks. But his range and kit also have some drawbacks that leave him a bit meh compared to better laners.

I do agree with you in saying that he is a very useful and interesting solo laner,although he needs ganks to be effective. His ultimate has a nice burst and its damage reducing component is very good. The saplings, though, see very little use but for sight/repositioning tools. The root is simply godly for ganks.
