Look at it from his point of view. He just received a surprise present, and is feeling very happy. He than gets told that it was a mistake, and someone wants him to pay for his surprise gift. I'm really sorry you made a mistake, but it would be mean to take that gift away from him.

You can try sending a support ticket, and explain your situation. It's unli they will refund you, but you can't know for sure until you try. I wish you the best of luck.

hahaha. you should re-enact that in real life, go down to the homeless shelter, give a stranger a cake, then come back after a while and tell him: " I mistook you for someone else, that cake wasn't for you. And since you already ate it, please buy me a new one!" see how well that goes!
