Critique my Build: Morgana

I've enjoyed playing Morgana and a little while ago, I realized Morgana's default build was... a little more defensive than she usually needs. So I fiddled around with item sets and came up with my own. It's definitely not the most efficient, but it's certainly made it easier to carry games and/or protect my team when it matters. I'm looking for critiques, maybe a little lesson on what to watch out for, etc. Looking to learn from how bad/poor this build is.

Starting Items item 3303 or item 1056 item 3340 item 2003 x2 I tend toward Doran, as morgana has poor mana regen in the early game. It lets me be a bit more aggressive and keep laning until around lvl 7 or 8.

Midgame Necessities item 3117 item 3092 item 3363 Mobility, Regen, and a useful active, and the almost necessary upgrade to the warding totem.

AP Carry Items item 3152 item 3165 item 3089 I usually pick one. By the time I get here, mana isn't a huge issue, so Will of the Ancients is usually a sufficient alternative to Morellonomicon; the passive healing aids sustain so much for ganks and waveclearing. If I'm ahead or have extra gold in lategame, I'll generally go Rabadon's.

Overkill item 3070 item 3174 item 3151 If I didn't go doran's, then I usually pick up tear of the goddess to compensate; it gives enough mana to solve morgana's expensive Tormented Soil (which I usually max first). Athene's is expensive, but helpful. Liandry's is awesome, but very expensive. If I can build it, Q + tormented soil can cut through hp on tanks.

Support item 2043 item 2049 item 3504 item 3222 Ardent Censer isn't that great, but if I cared to max morgana's shield first, it would make her a pretty viable pure support, along with being very cheap. Mikael's isn't usually necessary, but can be extremely useful for counter CC. I usually buy wards if the team isn't putting out a lot of vision.

Defensive item 3170 item 3512 item 3050 item 3157 item 3001 I usually build one of these. Zhonya's is useful in critical moments, but I often forget to use its active when I need it because I'm too busy being scared to death by the volibear that just snuck up on me. Guardian Angel is a little more expensive than zz'rot and the passive just doesn't justify passing on regen, armor, and an active that lets me mess with enemy lanes. Abyssal Scepter is probably what I get the most often from here.

What substitutions would you recommend? Any items that synergize surprisingly well with morgana? Any item choices that are just plain bad?

Whats interesting is how Morgana works as a support. She wants to keep your Marksman/Carry safe with her Black Shield from CC effects like Leona Thresh Blitzcrank initiations. But with her http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/a/a2/Dark_Binding.png/revision/latest?cb=20150331194044 Dark Binding and http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/5/55/Tormented_Soil.png/revision/latest?cb=20150331194422 Tormented Soul make her quite the offense oriented support as well. Letting her carry get picks that she makes for them while both stay at a nice range.

Even as a Mid lane carry which she is still good at doing is where she is STILL going to have an impact due to her Black Shield in later team fights.

Im Morgana main, and i play her Mid alot. This is build that usually works for me very well in mid lane

item 3027 item 3165 item 3157 item 1333 item 3135 item 3089

item 1333 - helps u reach max CDR , all u gotta do is either get blue or put some runes to get 10% extra. Also it reduces your flash CD nicely so you can engage with flash ulti more often item 3165 - cheap, nice ability power, nice CDR, and good passive. item 3157 - biggest FU in the game on Morgana item 3027 - You cant really be oneshotted anymore due to hp, solves all your mana issues, great ability power, great passive throughout entire game, cant stress how many times it saved my bottom. item 3135 - Tons of damage item 3089 - Best thing to roundup all items as last item in slot. Although, you can go for Liandrys Torment if u have issues with those pesky HP stackers

Buy item 2139 - and PWN!

As support you should go for:

item 3092 item 1333 item 2045 item 3157 item 3050 item 3190

Max CDR, max utility.

Builds is where things can get really diverse... Example: Take a look at what alasarcher and Dukues have posted for builds. Each player will find their own way to make a champion work for them. Sure they might end up with similar end goals. But how they went about it is entirely different.

This is not a build. This is a listing of several different groups of items. Lol

There are probably better answers but i run Morgana support this way.

Start: item 3303 item 3361 item 2043 item 2003 on blue side & X 3 health pots on red. I start Q but others start W for stacks.

I then build: item 2049 item 3341 item 3092 item 3158 . After that most times its item 3157 followed by item 3190. Lastly depending on what I am going and if I need more ad or ap its these items: item 3110 item 3001 item 3060

For ap carry you can do what you want but I would say start dorans ring, then go item 3174 or item 3165 followed by item 3157 & item 3089. After that figure out what else you need.

Idk, that support build has been working for me. May be some better options out there.

Um idk, I tend to build a little more team oriented, so if my team wants to Split push, or suck at controlling side lanes, I usually grab a banner of command over the locket of iron solari. I usually go for Mikael's against heavy CC. I get zhoyas sometimes, and I get zzrot for giggles or if I want to control side lanes. Morello if I am against heavy sustain. Zekes up until my ADC gets 80% crit. I like spelltheifs for extra gold. Boots depends on what I am thinking about getting later on. I build more tanky if my team needs that, and more dmg if my team needs that. My builds really depend on the situation.
