Why Doesn't Riot Just Move The Forum Post To The Right Place?

I dont get why Riot just removes the post entirely instead of just moving it to the correct discussion.

Hey there!

There is a post here by Mod RookDio that kind of explains it, but at the current point in time we are unable to do it due to the limitations of our tools. It's not that we don't want to, it is literally because we are incapable of it.

Riot didn't build in that functionality. The moderators just have to use what's there, which is deleting the post but letting the OP still visit the post to copy it to the right place.
