Please end my torment.
So I'll be the first to admit, I'm not the best league player. I'v been playing ranked for so long trying to get out of bronze, but clearly, I belong here because I suck.
But I've learned a few things from playing in the bronze ranks, and I've come to feel that it is literally impossible to rise up out of bronze once you're stuck there. And heres why.
One of the first lessons I learned in bronze is to turn off the chat. Its pointless, for as soon as anything goes wrong in the game, there are 4 people on your team ready to cuss about it. Thus I have learned that communication is pointless.
Second, don't ever give up your role. If you have a role that you're good at, thats the only role you should ever play. Because if you give your role to someone, they are certain to fuck it up, and they will turn around to blame you for not doing what youre best at. Thus I have learned not to rely on my teammates.
Third, don't even expect to get out of bronze, regardless of your skill. This is the big one, because the mentality of the community is that bronze players suck and they will never get better. This means people dont care about how well they do while playing in bronze. People will toss games simply because they dont like you. It is so impossibly hard to find 5 bronze ranked people who are willing to work together. Thus I have learned that I must carry my team to victory every game, or be stuck in bronze forever.
There is no teamwork here, there is no helping each other, just a bunch of people who believe they need to do it all on their own to 'get out' of bronze so they can be recognized as good.
Please, Riot. I beg you. Promote me to a silver rank, and I will never again be bronze. I hear things are better in silver, but I will never get there naturally.
Oh but Decaf Bread, certainly you are overreacting. With season 4 approaching, everyone will be given a chance to be reranked, so everyone will be playing with people of their skill level after the season starts.
OH NO WAIT THATS RIGHT. There's no hard reset coming. There's a soft reset that will keep the bronze players in bronze, and inevitably I will be stuck there, dealing with the masses of imbeciles who's sole purpose is to make me hate myself for playing the game I love most.
Please, Riot... I don't know what to do anymore, I just want to play this game and have a good time for once. Is that so much to ask?

Whats the point of bettering yourself at a team game if you'll never have a team willing to help you win?
