i did all 10 of my placement matchs won 8 of 10 lost 2 and got put in b5 i don't understand the logic behind this

Dude me too! I went 7 wins 3 losses and even got a pentakill! Like wtf riot? I got placed into bronze 5 because I beasted to hard?

Everyone in my silver games, is Gold and Plat from last season lol.
