Client Interface Customization?

I'm just curious if there's any current way or any potential way to customize the layout of the client's home interface?

Ever since the redesign I find myself accidentally clicking buttons all the time when trying to move between in and other windows waiting for queues, which then tosses me out to my browser and etc etc. But even beyond that I'm mostly visually annoyed with the interface, where every inch of it is filled with things vying for attention, like a wall of banner ads. I hope it's not taboo to say I really don't care about esports, or skin sales, or...lately, even most champ releases. Any way I could set it up to just have a link to patch notes, current games, and maybe one small window to advertise the new news?

Or, if nothing else, could we just add a static link to the latest patch notes? Please?

(And if you guys can think of a better board for this I'd love to know, there didn't seem to be anywhere to discuss the PVP.net client on the boards)
