The metaphorical approach to explaining the overwhelming negativity on boards.
Fact: people are more likely to give feedback when dissatisfied rather than when satisfied. When is the last time you had a very adequate burger and said to the fast food people, "I would like to compliment you on this exceptionally adequate burger. It does an excellently above average job of satisfying my need for greasy arterial annihilation." Even a really good burger will likely not incite you to seek out and compliment the chef who slapped that fat patty on a death grill. Now, imagine if all their burgers come with tomatos, most people like those tomatos, but you cant stand tomatoes. You believe that tomatoes are the very fruit of satans tree of sinful soughts. You bite into that disgusting abomination of a burger filled with tomato flavored garbage meat, tomato juice covered lettuce not even worth wiping your left big toe on, and the insidious presence of the damnable tomato scum. You would pitch an unholy fit that EVERY burger served their is filled with such filth. You would go to the ends of the earth if only to punish the sick corporate bastard who made that rule! I on the other hand love tomatoes. Tomatoes are the reason why I wake up every morning, they are the power button on the remote control of my life, and they turn me on to existing. I bite into my burger and I like that it comes with a tomato. That's it. end of story. I don't feel the need to complain about the presence of tomato because it fills me with satisfaction and wonderment. If it didn't have tomato I would probably say something about it, and if some guy was dissing my beloved tomato I would probably say, "Hey! Some guy! Some people LOVE tomatoes. In fact, MOST people at least appreciate the presence of their juicy goodness. You are one of a minority group of -insert burger restaurant here- eaters who dislikes the tomato on every sandwich, but the majority of us either feel somewhat neutral toward it or even enjoy that delicious slice of red heaven."
Now, on the boards, we have a forum for people to make their complaints about things they don't like. Other people who agree that this thing isn't something they want are going to seek out said boards and find likeminded people who are complaining about the issue, and either agree with them in that thread, OR, decide there aren't any threads that sufficiently express their own negative opinion. Occasionally someone who does like this thing is going to try to respond to a thread that is already filled with an overwhelming number of people who stand on the opposite opinion spectrum; however, that is like a tomato advocate walking into the meeting of a TTT (Topple Tomatoes Team) protest against the use and existence of tomatoes. Obviously they will get cursed at, hated, and booted from said thread/meeting. The TTT will then often have a meeting talking about how dumb that guy was for disagreeing with them since obviously the group is right and anyone outside of the group is a part of the minority and wrong (personal experience bias/ groupthink/ mob mentality). This leads us to this thread. You don't like dynamic queue, someone went onto the boards you use to complain about something you don't like and tried to tell you that most people don't feel the same way as you do. This lead to you feeling attacked since if the majority disagree with you that would make you wrong in a way, so you decided to respond indirectly by saying anyone who disagrees with you is dumb, and now anyone who DOES agree with you will support your statement, and people who disagree with you will likely avoid trying to reason with you or state so in YOUR group. Furthermore, your group will crucify anyone who comes in with a dissenting opinion. Does that make sense?
