New player looking for first character

Im pretty new to league, I've been saving up my points to buy my first character who at the time was gonna be fiora, but the more i look on line, the better Lee Sin is sounding. However, I've heard lee sin is pretty hard to play as where as fora isn't. Im at over 5000 points so i can buy most characters, and the way i got those points was playing shen for free, who i think I'm getting pretty goo at, but no one else seems to recommend him. Keeping all that in mind, i just need some advice on which champion i should choose

I'd say use your points and get several cheaper champions to try out different roles, then look at more expensive champs that fit the roles you like

Fiora is a lot of fun, but requires a lot more micro managing than Lee. Lee is pretty fun too, but if you do poorly on him people like to make fun of you.

Get whoever you like to play. Then branch out after that.
