Please Riot, replace the 3 refunds per lifetime by 2 per lifetime + 1 per season...

Meanwhile noob trap runes, 3 lifetime refunds (no exceptions, even if you used it on IP), massive IP grind required for runes and rune PAGES, Adobe AIR, no replays, etc.
Its PR nonsense, nothing more.

I was just like "I don't know why I bought this 4800 champ, I'll just refund and buy a different one."

3 permanent for rp items
I personally think it should be 1 per month but only ip items, or at least let us test champions before buying them (maybe rent a champion e.g. Rent a Nidalee for 500ip for 1 day) so that we can test the champion first and then buy it and u can only rent again after a month cuz like we only refund either becuz we don't like dat champion or we don't like a skin...well at least thats what I think...

+1/season sounds fair. People who want more should reconsider their spending habits. Impulse buying is really never a good thing. Do a little research and consider the tradeoffs of buying something before you click the buy button. I know shit happens sometimes, and sometimes it's even riots fault, but I think the people who would need more than 1/season are in a small, small minority.

Even 1 per season I find far too low. By the time you have the extra 4th credit, anybody that plays regularly will already have every champion. I'd say 2 initially, then 1 every two or three months.
I like OPs idea, but unfortunately I don't think Riot would ever even consider it. They aren't as player focused as the like to present themselves after all. I especially like this post, which illustrates some of Riots shortcomings:

Riot should at least give us the possibility to refund a skin when it gets changed, eg Ravager Nocturne, Warmonger Sion, Hextech Singed.
Riot changed their refund policies with player support now too so even if they change the product you originally paid for into some shit you can't get a refund. They are retexturing Augmented Singed and it looks awful, yet they are still denying refunds.
Argument for Riot: Riot isn't some charity. I know I'll get down-voted for this but maybe you should have spent your refunds responsibly. The only thing I wish Riot would have done better is put more emphasis on the fact that you won't receive other refunds.
Argument Against Riot: If Riot isn't going to implement a system where you get refunds over a period of time then they should AT LEAST have reduced IP cost for 2 random champions every week or 2.
I think that is a good idea because sometimes you play somebody and you thought the champion would be better than that. SO that is why I think that should be a thing
I agree that would be fair. When Riot reworks a skin or champion, you should have the ability to sell it back if you don't like it.
You people fail to see the big picture here. Riot is already providing us with a FREE-TO-PLAY game. Not only that, but the fact that they are generous enough to provide refunds in the first place is already great. No other game that I know of does this. People saying we should get two per season, or one every two or three months, or whatever fail to recognize that this is how Riot makes money. You wanna know how they pay their employees? Wanna know how they can continue to implement new textures, particle effects, better rendering software, and all the goodies that make this game run? By letting us buy things.
Not only that, but ALL new items come on sale, and then we have weekly sales on older skins. By letting us refund so often, they would make it so instead of having to purchase RP, we can just refund something we don't like (or maybe like but don't use as often), and then just buy this new thing that's on sale. How are they going to make money that way?
Yes, I have had my fair share of impulse buys. Yes, I would like another refund right about now: I am on my last one. Could Riot afford to give players refunds? Sure. How should they do it? Maybe there should be some qualifications. Have you been banned this season for any length of time? How many warnings did you get this season? Are you on chat restrictions? Did you get any ribbons this season for being a good player in several regards? How many RP purchases have you made this season?
I think players who somehow benefit the game, either by being a leader in the community by being a good sport in the majority of their games or by financially helping this game grow (if not both) should be the requirements for people getting additional refunds. I don't think they should be handed out like candy to people who quite honestly don't deserve them.
A refund a season under these conditions is fine, and I would be happy with that.
I made the mistake of refunding Garen (450 IP), Tristna (1350 IP), and Teemo (1350 IP). Meaning some RP purchases I was left unhappy with and was screwed
i feel like 1 per season si too low. agree with others who have said this. maybe like 1 every 6 months os perfect. tbh and ive been palying since end of season 1. i need 5 more champions. also i need to refund like 400 skins. i dont need these skins. id rather have other ones. i dont play these champions. i dont need thier skins.

Refund is mainly there to prevent mistakes, not to try something out (new champ?) once every 2 months and refund it again.
But because we have only these fixed 3 refunds, even if you are unhappy with something and regret the buy, you don't want to "waste" the refund, since there is no other way of ever getting any more, and you might need it someday on something more important.
That's the main problem here.

Make the refunds for IP purchases only. Now Rito doesn't have to worry about people trading in RP purchases.
Not sure if someone suggested this already, but yeah.
I actually think they should allow you to rent a skin for x amount of games so you can see if you like it or not and charge IP for it. If you like it then you can shell out the RP.
This solves both problems.
How bout ip refunds? Like I bought gallop super long ago but don't like playing him at all, would much rather that ip go in to a new tune page, or even remove him from champ select so I don't have to worry that gets randomed in aram....

Dislike the word 'replace.' I want my three credits, I deserve them for being part of league for so long.
But 1 per season added would be nice, and it would be fair to Riot if we could only refund so far back.
