Multiplayer Practice Tool request!

Vandiril·4/26/2017, 8:27:41 PM·272 votes·6,627 views

Testing against a bot and without anyone else is definitely not enough to train our skills. Adding at least 1 or 3 people to this mode, would keep people from playing it for fun, but allow people to test new stuff, practice skillshots or test specific interactions, as well as bugs.

It would greatly benefit League of Legends gameplay, competitive scene and positively affect League community.

Yeah Riot, Vandiril is going to find these bugs anyway, so make his work easier.

Also it takes like 30 minutes to get a bot to full build if you want to test stuff. You have to constantly feed them kills as well.

CØulrophobia4/26/2017, 8:34:17 PM4 votes

Yeah then we can play urf 2.0 together :D

Chaìn4/26/2017, 8:58:32 PM4 votes

Yes I agree with him. Having the option to invite other players will be a great impact to those who are wood, new to the game or for Vandiril, find bugs. Having a dummy was a nice idea as it tells you how much damage you are dealing, for example, a full Zed combo. However we all know that the enemy isn't gonna stand still and take damage (unless they DC). If you think that this mode will be taken advantage of, playing it as URF, as Vandiril said, limit the players or maybe limit the time allowed. As mentioned, this would bring a great benefit to League of Legends gameplay... and can stop the flaming in game.summoner 14 item 3070

I'd love to be able to practice my late-game Rakan/Xayah combos and mess with build synergy and DPS without having to farm for 45% CDR + mana regen + utility items. :D

Also, same above, but with Morgana/whoever.

Plus, same as above, but with Janna/Kalista.

Additionally, same as above, but with anyone.

Finally, I want to practice skillshots and smite contests at all level, I'd love to have a target dummy that can move and build like I want, and lots of champs need kills to figure out their late-game numbers (Kindred, Rengar, Zed, Cho'Gath, etc.).

Yes please!

If this was a thing we could have even more things "temporarily disabled due to vandril"

Manteh4/27/2017, 10:57:15 AM2 votes

I absolutely agree with this. There are plenty of benefits from it.

Supreme Senpai694/27/2017, 2:06:44 PM2 votes

Am I retarded for not knowing Vandiril posted on the boards?

Jazzmachine4/27/2017, 8:45:16 AM2 votes

Why is Vandiril not a RIOT employee by now? He does so much work for you guys :)

ThankfulSummoner4/27/2017, 11:36:33 AM2 votes

I totally agree with vandiril it will be really helpful especially when premades can tests and train their skills and teamwork

ps: still waiting for stream :D

DeathBurst4/27/2017, 1:28:34 PM1 votes

Yes please. I'm not sure limiting it to 4 people would prevent them to use it as a playground, but it's still worth it.

HASAK14/27/2017, 2:06:50 PM1 votes

To be honest I've been thinking the same thing, and i think that having a multiplayer would be so much more fun than just playing the practice tool single-player,

ZT Xperimentor4/27/2017, 2:13:08 PM1 votes

I wouldn't mind it so much if we could give the bot gold & levels; but yeah this is weak excuse for a sandbox since there's so many missing features.

Not to mention a few QoL features like changing champions/summoner spells in-game.

Not sure if you're able to spectate it though.

Melledoneus4/27/2017, 5:32:04 PM1 votes

Has Riot started paying you yet? You're literally getting most of the bugs most people wouldn't find and showing them publicly for them to view and fix, and they seem to be big fans of your videos because you were in the patch notes once.

Also, who would have spawning power? Everyone or one person? I'm curious.

AOA Meena4/27/2017, 7:30:41 PM1 votes

Vandrill made some excellent points, there should be at least 4 people allowed to do practice tool together in the same game.

57543904DEL14/27/2017, 9:11:00 PM1 votes

Yea, I think it'd be pretty cool idea, cuz with friends you can practice a lot better (team comps, synergies etc.)

Lintu Puck4/28/2017, 6:03:37 AM1 votes

I am pretty sure that is an EVENTUAL PLAN Riot has for Practice Tool. I am positive they have said this before, but they wanted to get a beginner thing out the door and that over time they do plan to update and upgrade the Practice Tool, so just be patient and multiman practice will eventually be a thing.

Holymonkje6/23/2017, 10:59:55 AM1 votes

I also think this would highly improve League Of Legends

Oelyk4/26/2017, 11:51:32 PM1 votes

While you're at it... Add something killable that respawns instantly... I want to practice my Kha double jump.

Entheos Geon4/27/2017, 1:58:43 AM1 votes

The practice tool just came out. They're working on it.

Or just the option to have more than one bot (which are customomizable)
