If I get a kill, or get killed, I'd like to see the face of my skin rather than my classic skin. Just ocd like that. With all the subtle aesthetics being implemented. How difficult might it be to put my skin's face in the box? I mean if you're purple Zac & you are on a rampage.. You don't wanna see some green blob taking the credit. YOU'RE PURPLE.Zac Lulu

Riot mentioned in the past that the reason for the default skin being the portrait is to allow the champion to be easily and quickly identifiable on the scoreboard and the minimap. There are 121 champions all with at least 1 additional skin, some older champions have more than 6 skins and some skins are rarely seen in game. It would be hard for a seasoned player, let alone a new player, to be able to identify all those different skins on the minimap or kill tracker.
