I remember back when league wasn't as popular, if you joined the summoners code you got 450rp, if it was your birthday 450rp, if it was Christmas 450rp. Twas a fun time. Guess league got a lil cheap since it started gaining popularity and money... happens to all of them
knowing rito, they'd probably just rerelease legacy skins and call it a day

People would cry too hard when they got a shitty skin. They could give refund tokens or just do the normal holiday skin sale and take less flak for it.
They should give out lumps of coal to players with restrictions.

I would be happy if the christmas gift was addressing some of the bugs in the game and making an option to put the buffs and stuff back to being over the ability bar, and buffing masteries for jungle...
This would be interesting for sure, but it'd theoretically lose $5 per mystery gift given. (approximately)
I'm sure it'd be a good start considering how much server trouble there has been. It'd help with their reputation.

The entitlement in this thread is real. Sure I'd be thrilled if we got free stuff during Christmas or some such but come on, the games already free to play. Some of ya'll are really ungreatful. o.o

Nah im happy with the special events like snowdown and harrowing. Be thankful for what they already do rather then what more they could. So many games out there have zero support or fan interaction.

That's a pretty cool idea, last time it was skins and icons that we had to buy but maybe this year a little gift xD, mby not directly free but easy to get, like play 5 games with a friend or something

However I think this is a great idea another you could do instead of gifting, is give us our refunds back. Last time I checked the game doesn't tell you how important they are or what they do exactly. So by level 10 i had burned all 3 on cheap 1350 champs. (I forget which ones) When you figure how valuable they are you're like, poop I need those stupid refunds that I used way back at level 10. So as an alternative Christmas Gift, could you give us our refunds back? It would be a true Christmas Miracle.
Here's an idea...get these things called "friends" and they might give you some skins for Christmas instead of asking for handouts from a company who's ultimately here to make money. Riot already does a lot more for their players and the League community than many companies.
