Me and my friends are in an argument over if using three fingers or four is better for league. I think four and my friend thinks three, we asked a few people and most said three, he thinks he is right because of it, but its only a small sample. i think scientifically mathematically four is better because your pointer finger is already on r and he says that its faster to move your e to r than already having your r on the key. what do you guys think?
Your pinky finger is actually stronger (or at least more independent) than your ring finger. Using it is useful imo.

4 the big question is: does anyone use 5 (thumb on D or F)?
I prefer to have all 4 fingers on the keyboard, but I've moved everything over to the right one key. It gives me access to another 3 keybinds on my left side and is generally more accommodating for my manly hands. It's personal preference really, but you can't beat the reaction time when you don't have to relocate your finger to a key it's not hovering over.
im bringing this question back because on most threads are old and back when there i wasnt quickcasting (i think ive only looked a bit im not sure when quickcasting was added)
1 finger on each spell key; easy use off all spells, item keys 1-4 and a, s, d, and f.
I only used quickcast with range indicators so I don't use shift.
Thumb on space for easily getting the camera back on me and used for pressing alt for champs that have self cast spells.
I use 4. I technically need to have a finger hovering over R, because I have my Flash set to T and my Smite set to F, so I just use one finger for all 3 buttons.
