So I'm in silver, and I have played THIRTEEN SUPPORT GAMES in a row.
It's not that I mind playing support, but I put mid and support and I am literally certain to get support every game. Would Riot be able to implement so that you aren't always stuck with the same role? I know I have the choice to not put support, but I don't wanna risk other roles. I know we lack support down here, but currently it's literally just filling support roles for all games. 
This happened to me too. Was starting to tilt pretty hard with jungle/support and getting 8 support games in row. Over ~100 games or so, I get to support a little over 60% of the time. I've tried jungle/top since and gotten it to be closer to 50/50, with slightly more jungle games. Try putting a non-support role as your secondary.
Riot really needs to do something to balance how they pick between your primary/secondary because right now it doesn't look like it gives preference (at least from my ~100 or so games of sample size and other people complaining) to what you want to play, and just tries to minimize queue times.
But yeah, I hear you! Time to learn a new role?
