Season 5+ punishments are becoming real sensitive

Riot has been banning people for the smallest comments in games. It's sad to see how this community developed from Season 1 to Season 6. From a more mature audience to a bunch of 10 year olds. You are better off not chatting at all in the ranked queues. The game is amazing, but RIOT Lyte and his so called "social justice system" has made the game un-enjoyable. It's like a 10 year got a hold of power, and thinks he knows best for a whole community. People report you for doing bad in a game, having high ping, saying "Hey can you pls stop feeding and farm". Things like this. They give you a reform card, which barely shows the whole picture of what really happened in-game. These days I can't even tell the difference between communicating and toxicity because everything is reportable now.

The point is that there is a borderline when people should be banned, but since season 5 I feel that they ban you for anything. I feel too afraid to even chat in-games nowadays because people try hard in bringing the worst out of your or anything you said can look bad on a reform card. And btw, Lyte saying that the statistics of only like a few per centage of the community being toxic is bull. I think most people can agree that there is at least 1 to 3 people reported per game, especially on the losing team.

Anyways, I think I'll be moving on to Heroes or Dota 2 now, where people can speak, there aren't as many trolls, and there aren't wrongful perma bans. I'll be selling my smurfs. The reason I made this post was mainly because my main account of 4 years just got perma banned today, and I literally LOL'd at my reform card. I will be posting pictures of it eventually. Point is, people in this game, and people such as Lyte have become extremely sensitive and decided to make a system that pretty much instabans daily. In life, how do you grow up and learn when you can't ever take criticism or a joke? There's a difference as competitive talk and being toxic, but kids take it as the same. Answer: This game or rather any game isn't life, and yet it's like Lyte tries to make it close to reality. You might as well bring back tribunal because I think that was more fair than this system. To Lyte, you need to do more research with that PHD of yours before you make such a flawed "justice system". Because just like the criminal system irl, it has so many flaws, and there's wrongfully convicted people everyday. What you consider toxic is very different from many individuals. There definitely is a line, but now that line has become blurred.

Anyways, peace out League community and good luck. Watch the rate of bans in season 7. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise because now I can focus on better things in life. <3

I completely agree here. I have been posting on the boards to get a punishment revamp and new system implemented and all riot employees say are "post on the boards" yet when posted riot either overlooks them or deletes the content all together.

I wrote this a few months back, its kind of lengthy but if you are as passionate as me about the punishment system you'll enjoy it but don't feel obligated to do so.
