Please just.. DotA 2 has it right Low priority players with priority players.. Change from games to time, no bans and max low priority from one game is 24hrs If you fail to do 24hrs without leaving/afk then it stacks (48, 72, etc) Simple yet awesome.

No, DotA doesn't have it right. Prisoner's Island just encourages toxicity, it doesn't help alleviate it... regardless of form.

If you put an ass in a room with 20 other asses, they're not going to suddenly stop being an ass.

It definitely does work. (at least anecdotally)

If you are in that % where you are just a shit human being and you play this game (or any MOBA) to rage, troll, grief, etc...then there really is no helping you. In fact the only way to truly protect the health of the game is to force CC#s or some form of identification to ensure account uniqueness. Dota does this to some extent with tying the game to a steam account which you would never want to get banned (sure you can just create a new acct, that's why its not perfect but it definitely deters bad behavior on those acct).

As for LPQ, this works great for the masses. Everyone is a little ragey, but once you get sent to this hell there's no way you wanna go back. It keeps you from playing ranked games, and you can make queueing for games take artificially longer.

Prison doesn't need to reform anyone. If you want to reform you will take it upon urself to reform with the tools provided for you (mute). If you choose not to you will forever be in the prison system.

Prison serves as a tool to keep the rest of the populace in line. Its designed to scare us straight. Most ppl do right/act correct because they dont' wanna be anyone's gf. PPL work hard to reform cause they want out of prison, the rest are lifers and will more than likely never reform.
