Jessica Nigri is an extremely unprofessional choice to host All Chat.

I enjoy League of Legends and I want what is best for this community. To start this off I will not be watching All Chat when Jessica is hosting. I will not be boycotting the show entirely as I enjoy all the community collaborations and Dash's, well, dashingness. When Jessica Nigri is hosting however, I will not be watching it purely because she is a bad moral figure, control freak and a compulsive liar.

I have to give credit to Riot employees and the responsibility they take with their actions. If they mess up, they own up to it and try their best to fix it. This image is strong in Riot's employees, contract or otherwise; she doesn't fit this bill. She is the epitome of someone who takes the "nerd/geek" culture and uses it for monetary gain and is not someone I wish to support in any way shape or form. I do not want this turning into a witch hunt post, so I will try and provide the most accurate evidence I can to show facts.

First: Here is her confirmation as a host - http://imgur.com/PTvA6fT

Second: Her first issue is she directly lies about sponsored products which is illegal in the United States. When a video is sponsored it is against FCC regulations to not state so. Her Youtube channel consists of her opening up products from her fans. While some of these are legitimate, she sneaks in sponsor products to get paid large sums of money in the videos as well, some increments ranging in the thousands.

She also does things like "accidentally" put in nsfw content she wasn't supposed to and then removes to gain publicity. She edits the videos. She knows what goes in them. - you can search it nsfw so wont be included-

Third: She is a control freak. Recently /r/JessicaNigri had an issue where she discovered the sub, basically claimed it as her own, became a mod and then began censoring/removing content. Anything that had any form of criticism or opinion of how she basically became the subreddits version of "Hitler" was completely censored. You can dig into this more on your own if you wish. Censorship can easily be seen here or on other parts of the sub: https://www.reddit.com/r/JessicaNigri/comments/47epkw/the_nigri_has_landed/

Fourth: I assume the reason they want her as a host is because she is attractive but also the cosplay industries "main/famous" cosplayer. Thing's like this are not cosplay. They are oversexualized implied photoshoots. Riot hasn't made "sexy" skins in years, especially when thematically they do not fit. But it's okay to have a representative of your game represent naughty versions of characters? Not the professional image, I see in Riot Games. -wont link nsfw cosplays, google veihar cosplay-

Fifth: She is fueled by drama. Just look at /u/NigriPlease comment history. She doesn't take a professional stance on anything. Is overall immature, argues with fans, and has an overall condescending attitude. She skipped out on Fan Expo Q/A and signings to go to the aquarium next door to the venue. They tried to contact them and she ignored them:

This was her "professional" apology: https://www.facebook.com/OfficialJessicaNigri/posts/10152719704787533

This is a con. An event planned ahead of time. She completely ignored her own responsibilities. That's like Riot Games having a PAX booth and then when you get there the Rioters decided to go to an amusement park down the street instead. This isn't the first time she did this either. She refused to do a planned one at NYCC to save her voice for a concert.

At the end of the day, I just don't find it to be a good decision. I think the show really shines in it's community interactivity aspect. The show is light and fun. While Nigri has a bubbly personality in front of the camera, behind the scenes it doesn't matter as she is not a professional host. She is a cosplayer and I feel her image only tarnishes the reputation Riot has built in the long run.

TL;DR: Nigri is not a good professional choice as a host for All Chat. There are a lot of other people who are talented and honest that would fit the bill a lot better.

Jessica is all about bait and lies. Im not going to post exactly what goes on or hate her for it. A quick google should answer that. I understand the "do what you can for money". The issue I have with Jessica is the constantly lying and not giving credit where its do.

Shes only on all chat to bring her fanbase to the show (smart move) and a bit more sex appeal to eye catch. She knows how to play people. She does it well. For that I don't hate her I am just disappointed in the people that follow her as they are the ones to blame. Not going to fault someone for doing well when their fanbase is the problem when they blindly follow and ignore her large amounts of constant faults. Its obvious her fans care for only 2 things and a wishful 3rd that will never happen unless you can advance her career as she has been shown to make that decision several times.

But she isn't exempt though, she has done quite a lot of things to disgust me. I just don't carry hard grudges like everyone else.

Im not saying she isn't a fun or nice person but from what she has done and what I have seen/heard/read I'll stay away. She plays people and I have no intention of getting played.

I don't think Riot has any control over the show. It's advertising really, no matter how obnoxious the content might be.

I watched maybe one episode because I was stuck waiting in a long que. I found it kind of annoying, and the people on it to be less than enjoyable to listen to. I'm not surprised to see someone so immature being brought on as a host. It's just not my taste, so I don't bother with it.

I pretty much agree with what I've seen so far
