Please be harsher on normal games.

People are taking normal games like custom games and leaving/AFKing without a care. Like in this game this graves is AFKing, while active, because of "troll" supports. Make leaves/AFK more serious

Yes nobody takes Normal Games serious when a lot of people use these for Practice. Primarily Draft needs to be toughened up a little. Too many of us use Draft for practice and it is treated stupidly, random bans and troll lanes. Loads of feeding and AFKing.

I do understand Tribunals are down but as always, I do not think that punishments are severe enough. Yorick

Well if you were so far behind it wasn't a possible win and he wanted to forfeit and you guys wanted to pro long a losing game I don't blame him.

The thing is we weren't even that far behind or really at all behind. We had yet to group more than once as a team and that is mainly because he himself ran in by himself and died. His reason was "I give, I can't rely on this team"

Ranked is more important than normals so it only makes sense that ranked would be taken more serious with harsher punishments.

They should both be equally important. They are both part of the game, filled with players, and the people who play it have the right to enjoy the game equally without leavers that don't get punished.

They have different Game modes for a reason. If every game mode was equally the same they would just have normals and not ranked or ranked but not normals. That's like comparing practice to games in a real sport.

Ranked is to accomplish a goal for competitive players. Normals are for people who want to practice new champs, break meta or goof around. The two are nothing alike in terms of importance.

People want to join ranked and try new things and goof around and screw people trying to advance instead of just playing normals or team builder mode just for that.

It's really not up for debate that is just fact.

They have different modes. This is true, but the game modes each are 1)under the summoner's agreement that -everyone- has agreed to follow and 2)while still being different they deserve the same punishment.

You're right ranked is for the more competitive people, but why in the world would that allow people to not be fairly punished? Normal would be like regional match and ranked would be national, but they would both still be ruled the same mostly. Therefor there is no reason for the lack of punishment upon people who leave/AFK. Trolling I don't mind as much as long as it is a troll that has a -chance- of doing something and they themselves are playing the game.

On the note of practicing new champs, while even I do not agree to this, is meant to be done in practice. Goofing around can be done in normals as long as it is not ruining the game for your team by not playing, losing is fine as long as you are playing and putting up a fight.

No i'm saying Ranked has the more strict punishments as it should. As for leaving/Afk leave buster is set up the same way on Ranked and normals. If you leave or afk and don't gain experience for a certain amount of time you get flagged by leave buster. Do it to many times you get suspended.

However even though it is meant to target the ragers who quit or afk it also targets people who have client or server sided issues which is not under their control. So before they started adding harsher punishments they need to fix their flawed system because they started doing anything else.

If you're in a or even loading a game and you get bug splat or your client wont connect for whatever reason. Then you get back in 6 minutes, you are already flagged by leave buster. Doesn't matter if you go 30 and 2 and carry your team you are going to get the same punishment as someone who rage quit or just exited the game. To me that isn't fair.

The thing is though that most people afk and move around in well to not get an afk boot which beats the purpose of the afk leave system -unless- it added points on for each person that reported them for afk leave or so.

The client side issues can be negated by simply, for now, make it so that if you aren't in by 1:30, like connected, then you are exempt from the leave system.
