Why No Personal Item Build Creation in New Client

So I was talking to a friend that just started and he likes to play Yi but i dont know my build off hand for him so i couldnt tell him what to do, so i was going to go under my item sets in the new client only to find we cant do it anymore, I am kinda mad because i used it for every champ i played and now when i want to learn a new champ and have my own custom item set ready so i dont have to waste time scrolling through the item shop looking for an item i cant thing the name of. I have to no go online mid game to see what the item build is that i want and waste precious time i could be using to help my team against my opponents. We need this feature back and i dont understand why they would ever take it out.

already mentioned several months ago it is in development. believe it is on the PBE as we speak

Well how can it be "in development" if they already made it and there is already a file to it, all they need to do is make it look like the new client and plug it in

The keyword is 'testing' in this case. Sure, testing things does not prevent 100% of bugs, but never testing before production at all is the worst idea you can ever due. Also, several months ago it was in development like i said 'mentioned several months ago in development'.

It has been that since they introduced the new client back in 2016.

Riot was 'surprise' at the amount of people wanting custom item sets and is a high priority for them to add in to the new client.

I read that Riot originally did not think most people cared for the custom item sets while they were developing the new client. That is why it did not start off with it.

As for the new client still not having custom item sets now, in no defense of them, they have been working on bugs of the client and making it smoother. Making the client run smoother is better than adding the new addition of custom item sets, especially for a long time now, one can go to the old Client and do just that.
