Swear filter wont turn off

So I want to play without the swear filter because I dont like seeing the stars. I have tried turning it off in settings. I have gone into the program files and tried to turn it off from there. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and none worked, anyone have any ideas.

Use the in-game command /chatfilter, that should work.
