So I want to pick up nidalee seeing how she has been a viable choice for quite some time. I have been playing a bit with her in normals, however whenever I have a smart opponent around my level that knows how to dodge, I can never land a spear on them. Yet when I watch pro junglers use her, they almost never miss. I pick up sweeper fairly early into the game so I can make sure they can't see me comming, but most of them still can avoid the spear so easily.

Are there any secrets or tips that I dont know about? Because I'm pretty amazed at anyone plat+ that can play nidalee well considering I can baraley land a spear.

Study player behavior when they see your spear, and try to throw it where it will be most likely to hit.

Try to get used to free camera, it helps land them at a distance. Also see, Rylais. If they step on a trap it slows them, which should be easier. A lot of it is getting used to how fast it travels, and predicting when it will hit them. Lots of Geometry in league.
