I honestly feel like LoL taught be about self accountability IRL. People in LoL are notorious for blaming others for losing a game instead of looking within to see their own fault.
I didn't climb out of Silver until I stopped blaming my teammates and focused on what I was personally doing wrong so I could be more consistent and therefore climb through the ranks.
I've applied this to real life also. Anytime something goes south I just try to see what I personally could have done better so that it doesn't happen again so I can learn from it and become stronger.
League of Legends has helped me think logically about my actions and their effects. If I want to play a game but I have to leave in 20 minutes I should not play. If I want to get that last minion for BF sword but Blitzcrank is in the bush with his adc I probably should just back.
