Toxic players in League of Legends, Depression, Anxiety, etc.

So I've been noticing more and more toxic players in game lately, and I really really am disappointed by this. There is so much toxicity and arguments that start when there's someone who isn't that good or when someone makes a mistake. I'm not saying that I'm never one of these people, but I'm saying we could all improve as a community to become better c: There are a lot of people going through a very hard time in life right now, and adding onto it would be rather selfish. We probably wouldn't even realize We're adding negative things, or care, but if it was turned back onto US we would. I have personally gone through depression and anxiety and even though it seems like a small deal, it can cut you down and make you want to kill yourself. Some people are really sensitive. I just wanted to bring this to people's attention! I love you all and have a happy new year!

I'm not sure how to explain it but I'll attempt to. It's that people feel they are better than what they are and believe they can be pro. They have a false dream to get paid to play video games. So when they can't get up to the higher ranks they get emotional over the game as if everyone is holding them back from going pro. They get sad/depressed go tilt then take that emotions out on the other players. They waste all their precious time on League and when they can't get there it's like invested time that they just cant let go.

This game is a goverment psy op. A social experiment.

Look at the name "Riot". Riots occur when people are mad about how things are going and they go into the streets to smash stuff up. The game is a form of pacifying people from Rioting. Instead of venting in the streets they do it in this game. Look at the Riot fist animation. A fist smashing your computer screen. That's telling of the intended anger this game is inciting.

The very core mechanics of the game are what cause the community to be hate filled.

What game punishes you for your allies' mistakes? What I mean by that is if you're playing league and your ally feeds kills, he has just made the game harder/more difficult/less fun for you.

If your ally in CoD TF2 or other games die, the enemy doesn't start to get snowballed stats. You don't mind if they don't do well because it doesn't affect your gameplay. You're as good as you play and the other team won't get better stats if you team doesn't do well.

If your team is feeding you can completely outplay the other team in skill but it won't matter because they still have the gold/level/dragon buff lead.

No other game puts that amount of pressure on your own team. Sure there are mechanics that work similar but not the same permanent snowball stat increase.

I play this partially due to depression, so I find the irony in settling here. However, I tend to laugh more about the trolls than get upset. I watch a lot of penguinz0 and daithe who I use as rolemodels on how to react to unpleasureable behaviours.

Riot shouldn't have to babysit it's player base.

If you are sensitive don't play this game If you have anger problems don't play this game If you are an adult and can be mature then play this game..
