So for season 5 I got the silver border solo q but gold through team ranked. So far it seems like my loading border is switching from silver to gold and vice versa every 2-3 games. I was just wondering is this normal?

Your Team Ranked 5v5 border will only show in Team Ranked 5v5. The solo queue border shows in everything else except 3v3 Ranked.

LOL No. The way it works is you keep whatever your highest of the two is. I.E. I'm gold solo queue but ranked 5's im silver, so I keep a permanent Gold border. Its probably a bug, try to contact rito?
