There's never going to be a perfect system. No matter what riot does people being stupid/selfish is a constant they'll never be able to overcome.
Honestly you just have to queue up and hope you don't get a troll or an asshole....it's sad but a good 60% of the people out there don't give a crap about the rest of their teammates before, during, or after the game.
So your answer is to just accept an imperfect system that could be improved? There is litterally nothing I can do but que dodge that stuff and then I get penalized for not wanting to play with yorick support.
