Summoner Name Change Notification

To anyone and everyone that has ever had a friend on your friends list change their summoner name:

How many times have you logged on to league, open your friends list, and find a new name in the midst of all of those people you queue up with? You try to figure out who among your friends is missing, but can't quite put your finger on it. You check their profile, match history, what league their in, their ranked teams, even their mastery and rune pages to try to get the hint of who it could possibly be, but to no avail. Sure, you could ask them what their old summoner name was, if they were online, but perhaps they've gone MIA in the Rift and have been inactive for about a month. So what could be done to find out who they are?

Simple: we must kill the Batman. Well. Later. All I propose to team Riot is a simple update to the friends list that is comparable to that of Steam, with a "Previously Known As" parentheses somewhere on the hover-pop-up or whatever the official term for that is on the list. No more trying to figure out who that person is that you probably should know, but you're a terrible friend and can't remember or notice who's missing. Maybe it doesn't even have to go on the hover option, maybe it could go somewhere on their actual profile page underneath their now-current name. If it was easier than adding something to the UI of the friends list/profile page of summoners, then the client could send an automatic notification to everyone on the person's friends list that changed their name saying "(Insert Summoner Name) has changed their identity and are now known as (New Summoner Name)," or something to that effect.

This issue isn't anything that is a huge deterrent from me in this game, just a minor inconvenience of the social interaction within the client itself. If anyone has any add-on ideas or any ways they believe could implement this better, feel free to add your suggestions/brainstorms in reply. I don't completely expect something so minor to be changed, but I feel it could help in QA of the social aspect of the game.

You can go to his match history page, look up a old match before the name change. It will show the old player name.

Just a useful trick. Tho i agree having a notification would be nice.

This is part of the reason I put notes on their summoner names. :D
