What happened to giving skins for just supporting the game?

Remember Judgement Kayle? Why do you only give out skins to ranked players now? I don't have the patience to deal with mentally defective trolls just to have something nice for supporting your game. I'm not saying we're entitled to anything, but after supporting the game for so many years, it was nice to get something at one time. Now you have to play ranked, which a big part of the community doesn't do. Idk, I just miss getting something nice once in a while and I just don't have the patience for ranked anymore.

And this isn't a complaint for being terrible at the game, because I'm sure if I tried I could raise in rank. But again, I just don't have the patience anymore. Besides, I mostly just play with friends now, I can't be bothered with the competitive scene after dealing with so much toxicity.
