Tired of Ranked Solo/Duo

I feel like I am a good player but I always get stuck with trolls when trying to do ranked. The system is flawed no one man can win in league you need a team. If they based rank on performance instead of team W/L, I believe that really great players would emerge. I really want a competitive 5's team so we can build strategy and work on being great players. If anyone is interested send me friend request. I know I am not the only one tired of playing with AFK/troll/feeders.

There are plenty of threads about this, but since this is a new one i'll just voice my opinion here...

I really like the fact that people have to come together against all odds to work as a team, because that's what really makes diamond 1 players more knowledgeable than bronze v players, their attitude.

However, I also consider myself a victim of countless "Top or feed" or the notorious autolockers, and those who even went out of the way to que up and then go afk as soon as the game starts.

I feel like the only way to really utilize the system as it stands is to prioritize selection for players who dont have any afk record with others who dont have afk's, as opposed to strictly mmr, and the current calculations. Also i'm all for having a strict "1 afk, or multiple reports and you cant que ranked for a week" ban or something along those lines.

At least with this method it would greatly reduce the chance of being qued with someone who is likely to commit these offenses, and at least give you the fair chance you deserve. hang in there bro, it's not called elo hell for nothting.
