I am a new player lvl 10 .The marksman class really suits me . i wanted to know is there a marksman who has a high dps as well as abilities that do a good amount of damage. will he/she be worth the cost and lastly can i use him/her at high levels .(somewhat like ashe but i dont think she can work well at high levels).i like ranged attacks so a mage will also do.somebody reccomended me caitlyn.

does a lot of damage early game by using auto attacks and abilities. He is also very solid in higher level play. He is rather costly (6300), so I recommend you try to find him during free week and see if you like him.
EDIT: If you are looking for strait up highest damage, 
probably wins early game, but is a difficult champion, and 
probably wins lategame, but is also rather hard.
Highest DPS is a tough thing, it needs to include type of damage, rate of damage, target swap ease, and the safety. Type of damage means that if you do only physical damage (hi Draven), armor beats you up hard. Magic damage is not affected by armor, so corki beats high armor targets, for example. Rate of damage is attack speed OR how often you can use your main spell, if you have one. target swapping is changing targets of higher priority than the current target, vayne has a hard time doing this as it destroys her DPS. Safety is both how fast you can move, AND how reliably you can kite opponents back. If you want the pure unbridled highest DPS in the game, it is a very very close thing. I'll do a bit of research on it though, using level 1 max DPS, 3 item DPS(taken by highest winrates builds), and 6 item DPS. This'll take a while XD

Caitlyn and Ashe are probably your best bet for high DPS + easier to play.
caitlyn is probably the most consistant dps adc, but if u want max dmg u should try tristana and draven.
twitch, jinx, vayne, and draven are probably the highest damage adcs, but all of them can do stupid amounts of damage
and what about jhin? i am suprised none of you told about him?
