Is there a way to prevent LOL ads from opening in the browser?

I often close chrome from task manager to save the open pages. I have absolutely no interest in any of the ads they have on the interface :D i'm a very casual player and it's not a big deal but it's annoying accidently bumping one of their links and having to close 2 lol pages and re-exit chrome.

Is there a way to prevent LOL from accessing the browser? Or to disable the ads on the interface? I miss the way it used to be so long ago when most of the people were chill and the UI was't bloated with obnoxious stuff

Well, first there is a setting in google chrome that makes it not open 2 tabs when using your browser, so it'll only open the link u accidentally pressed. But no, i don't believe there is a way to remove them from the client, you'll have to wait for the client update and see what that brings. I was hoping they'd bring back spectating of random matches that weren't CUSTOM BOT MATCHES.

Who the hell wants to spectate a bot match, let alone a custom bot match v.v bring back the features matches!
