Hybrid Theory is looking for a Community Manager

Hello League Community!

Hybrid Theory is looking to expand a bit deeper into League of Legends. Our goal is to find a solid Community Manager who can help us grow and manage the Community side of our Division.

What we currently have in the League of Legends Space:

Hybrid Theory is currently doing a Community Event called : League of Legends Community Game Night. This event takes place every Tuesday at 7pm Central / 8pm Eastern. Our goal with this project is to give players the opportunity to play with League Of Legends community figures. This includes Rioters, artist (from Music to art), internet figures, and cosplayers. The event is also Shoutcasted! It is a great time and we hope to grow with this event.

We also currently have a Silver 5 team that is working their way up the ladder.

What we are looking to do in the League of Legends Space:

We are looking to create a fun and active community. Our goal is to find like minded players who want to play with people who have similar interests. There are a ton of Gaming Communities within the League of Legends realm, but we feel we bring a few things that are outside of the norm. We are a laid back community with structure. We do not require 25+ Steps to become and remain a member. We only ask that you sign up on our website and post an introduction! That's it, now there are other avenues one can take to achieve a higher rank, but we will mention those options after you are a member. Our goal is to create a laid back community that still has the bells and whistles as those other communities. Let's be real here, we all are here because we want to play the game, we don't want to join a community to feel like we are working.

What we are looking for in a Community Manager

We are looking for someone who is willing to help grow our community. This position will require someone who is personable and willing to talk to new players. You must be able to make judgement calls and read character. Remember even though our community is open to most (we do have some restrictions) it does not mean we need to accept everyone. Now growing a community within a new division is a hard project for anyone 1 person, so as the Community Manager you will be able to build a team to help you. We want to provide you the tools to help make this community a great one. Will it be difficult? Of course, but we are hoping that you are going to be willing to stick it out with us through the highs and the lows. Rome wasn't built in a day, and the same goes for a gaming community. We will have people come and go, we will have times where we can't please everyone. In the end, our goal is have fun and find players who want the same type of experience.

Community Manager Responsibilities

Welcome new members on the forums. Manage our Voice Comms -Remember you can build a team to help with these duties Help promote us and recruit on the Forums / other websites Help us improve Hybrid Theory as a community and grow our brand.
